I was originally brought to Anusara yoga for physical relief from back pain, but soon fell in love with its heart-felt language and deep, introspective Tantric philosophies. Anusara yoga weaves together strong, secure principles of alignment and soft, playful expressions of the Divine in each student’s unique pose, bringing about both a therapeutic and artistic value to this ancient, sacred movement.

I completed my teacher training at City Yoga in West Hollywood under Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind and Anthony Benenati. Naime Jezzeny became a sort of mentor for me with his sweet, playful style of teaching, but I've also practiced with John Friend (founder of Anusara yoga), Noah Maze, Tara Judelle and many of the other awesome yoga teachers that make up the LA kula.

I am a mother, woman, and lucky member of the most complicated group of life-forms on the planet, and I always try to bring a sense of truth and humor to my classes, as there are so many everyday insights to help us grow in our awareness of ourselves and evolve in our practice of yoga. I live in Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles, and teach all over the west side. For class times and locations, see schedule below, and for more information on Anusara Yoga, please visit www.anusara.com.
